Since 2023 Kaelin and Tamar Lamberson have been on a mission is to build an annual gathering that shines a spotlight on films created by women and to advance the cause of women in film with The Valkyrie International Film Festival(VIFF). VIFF is an event where female artists support each other’s work. VIFF seeks impactful films in all genres directed by women.
This years event took place in the auditorium of The Hallwalls Contemporary Art Center 2026 from August 7-11 and has proven to be yet another example of how hard Kaelin and Tamar have worked to showcase the incredible talents of women directors from around the world.
