Annunciation parish to present Recovery (2014) documentary
(October 11th, 2012) Recovery (2014), a documentary detailing West Seneca resident Matthew Faulkner’s miraculous recovery from traumatic brain injury, will be shown in Selbert Hall at Annunciation Church from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23. The film was created by local production company Monolopolus Productions, with this screening being the final Buffalo showing before the film enters the film festival circuit. Annunciation Church is located at 7580 Clinton St., Elma.

The story of Faulkner’s amazing recovery from a near-permanent coma following a 2009 automobile accident will inspire anyone dealing with a serious injury, illness or circumstances beyond their control. Faulkner will be at the Annunciation event to speak about his recovery and answer questions from the audience. Also attending the event will be Ryan Monolopolus, producer and director of the documentary, and Joe Kirchmyer, author of “Most Likely to Survive,” a book detailing Faulkner’s incredible story.

The Oct. 23 test screening event is free and open to the public. A freewill offering will be collected that will go directly to spreading the film to a wider audience. Additionally, signed copies of “Most Likely to Survive” will be available at a discounted rate.
