BUFFALO/NIAGARA’S LONGEST-RUNNING INDEPENDENT FILM TO BE RELEASED

Feature Film “Let Them Have Their Way” Brings Together Approximately 400 Actors and 100 Locations Across Western New York

Let Them Have Their Way – Screening at North Park Theater

Buffalo, NY – (May 06, 2014) – On May 17th, a wrap party and group viewing will be held for the 500+ cast members, crew, and collaborators who contributed to the feature film “Let Them Have Their Way”.  The event celebrates the close of a production that required over 100 days of shooting spanning over 4 years.  The gathering will be held at the North Park Theatre in Buffalo, NY.

“Let Them Have Their Way” explores the states of human relationships in contemporary times and is an expressive, surreal critique of modern life.  The project is the longest-running independently financed film to have ever been made in the Buffalo-Niagara region and one of the largest in terms of scope and scale.  It is Vo’s first feature film, produced by Monolopolus Productions and Casa de Luz.

This film has largely united the Western New York region; we have collaborated with Buffalo’s major universities, filmed at major landmarks such as the Ellicott Square Building and the Buffalo NFTA Metro as well as at many small businesses and organizations that make the area so unique. We have received overwhelming support from the region and I think that says a lot about the future of film in Buffalo-Niagara.  We couldn’t have done this anywhere else”.
–Ryan Monolopolus, Monolopolus Productions

The film will be entering the film festival circuit later in 2014, and additional screening dates will be announced in the near future.
