(August 8th, 2014) Principal photography for Dwelling, yet another feature film shot entirely in Western New York has wrapped.

DWELLING follows a young woman, Ellie (Erin Marie Hogan), who deliberately buys a haunted house in attempt to make contact with the spirit world. Driven by a horrific experience in her past involving her sister, River (Devanny Pinn), Ellie is willing to put herself and her family at risk to seek the truth. In doing so, Ellie releases a soul that is more malevolent and terrifying than she could ever imagine. DWELLING also stars Mu-Shaka Benson as “Gavin”, and newcomer Abigail Mary as young “Izzy”.

This paranormal thriller is written and directed by a young, fresh talent Kyle Mecca.  Producers Brandyn T. Williams and Arlynn Knauff of BeWILdered Media Productions and Director of Photography Matthew A. Nardone of NDstudios are worked along side Mecca to create a beautifully eerie picture.

Shooting locations included homes in Lancaster, Clarence, Pautler Chiropractic and Wellness, Gates Circle Hospital, the University at Buffalo, 15 Fingers Interactive Ad Agency, Clarence Center Cemetery and the Niagara Arts and Cultural Center.

Dwelling also featured one of the first aerial shot in the area supporting a drone/RED camera combo.
